Soooo why can’t we search by people ACTUALLY LOCAL??? All the “near me” results are in cities far away, why cant we search like other dating sites to find people ACTUALLY IN THE SAME CITY, or in a 5 mile / 10 mile radius?? In the Bay Area no one is gonna go from SF to SJ to meet someone, we need LOCAL. Isnt that what this is all about????
Yeah. You to need to bring back location things. That’s why we have this app in the first place? Nobody will see people from other sides of the country? As also make categories to search for. I don’t want to see a bunch of guys in my “meet people.” have categories of searching like male female or both and things taken from the profiles such as like age, ethnicity, relationship status, body type, interests, and all of those things so you don’t have to search through people you don’t want. Ale everything nicer, smoother, and easier to find the people you want to actually talk to!
please make the app stays in background. it logs out when i press only the home button. fix it.
Can ye not have an option to block people outside a certain radius? This would sort out these international freaks annoying everyone! And would make it more localized?
@jp, International freaks?? You can meet and chat with people nearby or all over the world. If it’s about meeting interesting new people, which is what Skout is for, there’s nothing wrong with talking to people from different countries. We do have a Search feature that allows you to filter for just people “Near”.
What about making sure our pictures are deleted? I have tried to delete my pics multiple times only to find out others can see them when they’re showing deleted on my side. We need to at least once pics are deleted they really are deleted not waiting in the backstage somewhere.
Why is there not a mile radius search? that’s much easier than “Near”, “City”, and “State”. after 300 miles I can understand a “Country” and “World” search however.
I dont know why but it keeps crashing when i see scroll through too many people. It didnt happen before
@Sam, What kind of phone are you using? And how many times would you say you scroll down until it crashes?

I can’t disable push notifications for latest version running on android. I’m relatively tech savey and have all notification settings turned off in skout, but it still pushes them?

After update, I’m keep getting notification to my phone when I’m offline. I set to Not getting any notification but I’m still getting it when someone sent me message. How can I stop the notification? Plz someone help me?

Please give us the option to disable NEW MEMBER ALERTs. They are not helpful as most of the alerts are received before the new member uploads a picture. Why would anyone want to message someone who:
1. Have never met or talked to before, plus
2. Have no idea what they look like.

Would like a confirmation screen for sending a gifts(web version). I have accidentally hit the send it button 2 times wasting points on unintended gifts.

My favorite part of this whole SKOUT search is that no matter what issues people have with it, nothing seems to be looked into regardless of the fact that people want to meet other people LOCALLY, not globally. Twitter/Facebook is for all around the world. This needs to be trimmed down to be able to meet people close to you, not in different countries.

Your app is very cool.
Nevertheless I am not satisfied with the fact you cannot display people through increasing distance from you.
I can filter the radius in the search parameters but then the results are a bunch of people randomly located in that radius: first one at 9 km, second at 6 km, third one at 12 km etc etc…
Why not having the closest from me displayed at first (even with option to see offline contacts)?
This version is using a lot of resources and drains my battery. Please fix it. I’m using a galaxy s 2.
It drains power even harder than a usb charger can charge it. If you look at the process it’s red.

I just got the notification I earned my 5 daily points, but I didn’t get them either.
