It’s June, and everywhere we look there are telltale signs that summer is steadily approaching. Skirts are getting shorter, and the lines at the ice-cream parlor are getting longer. Popular chain stores have bikinis and barbecue grills on the forefront of their displays, amusement parks are back in business, the gym is busy, and of course – it’s HOT.
Temperatures are rising, and so are people’s interests in outdoor activities. No one wants to stay cuddled up at home, they want to be out and about enjoying what the weather has to offer. It’s the season of social solstice. Time to join in on the fun, and perhaps try something new!
Instead of being cooped up in a movie theater, watch one at the park! Learn how to paddle, and test out your new skills at a beach party. Skip the treadmill, and run your favorite scenic trail. Put the cards down, stop being an Old Maid, and Go Fish at your nearest lake. Whatever you do, bring Skout with you to see who else is partaking in the fun in your area, or how people around the world are celebrating the sun.
It’s an exciting time of the year, and we’re excited to celebrate alongside you with amazing contests, more blog posts, and bigger and better ways to make new friends. This summer Skout’s bringing the heat, while still keeping you cool.

I don’t have anybody in my life and I was starting to meet ppl that actually care for me and now I can’t talk to them!!! that’s not kool and you need to kick off ppl that are sending nudes around the underage groups are doing it too!!! I’ve had a girl that verbally abused me on Skout and reported me for something I never did so why don’t y’all go through PPLS pics!!! And kick them off this is stupid!!! I thought someone hacked me!!! I WANT MY FRIENDS BACK I CAN’T BELIEVE Y’ALL WOULD TAKE SOMETHING IMPORTANT AWAY FROM ME LIKE THIS!!!

@Alex, There is definitely a reason… Your account was banned because you were spamming an inappropriate sexual message. Obviously we have a zero-tolerance policy for this behaviour and your account will not be reopened.

I updated the Skout app yesterday and it blocked my account. I’m 18 years old and have sent appeals and haven’t been met with a response.

I can log into and use Skout.com no problem, but once I updated to the new app on my iPhone it tells me my account is suspended. It seems a little curious that I can log into the site and use all its features but the iOS app says I am suspended and I must appeal my suspension.
I am 28, have never claimed to be younger, have never posted inappropriate or copyrighted photos – can you advise what is happening??

@Chelsea, I opned my first account using that email address, then I decided to deactivated, why there is not a reactivate option ? as I tried ti sign back up using the same email address, but message said it already existed, so I was not able to see the pple I was talking to, specifically J:) from New Zealand? and I still can not! Hi. Quick question – my account says it is temp suspended. I was having a conversation which may have gotten of track. Both of us are adults, consenting to the conversation, and yes..”things”were discussed. I didn’t sed any photos but the other party did. I sent a few appeals but no one responded. Well, i do nothing but keep myself safe from the heat. I don’t know anybody who can go out with me cuz i have no friends, how boring. But that’s true, i just lay on the bed and let the time runs. :’)
