Did you know that we have a “Report” button?
You can find it in your chats with other Skouts, in profiles that you surf through, as well as on the public pictures of flirts that you check out.
Basically, it helps us keep track of who the “bad guys” are.
But we can’t do it without your help!
If something fishy is going on (someone’s harassing you, someone has inappropriate information or photos on their profile, etc), just click that report button, and our Skout team will work towards investigating your report, and quickly banning and deleting the perpetrator.
But you’re a big part of making that happen! So don’t be afraid to let us know when something’s going down.
We want to keep our community real!

Will people who use celebrity, or photos that are not of themselves be removed from the site if they are reported for using them and claiming that they are the people in the photograph?
I don’t see a problem with someone posting a picture of 1 of their idols as long as they include a comment acknowledging who the person in the photo is, but I hate when people try to pass the pictures off as if it’s them in the photo! I’m not on here to waste my time talking to a guy who is passing himself off as a woman for example and have came across too many pics of celebrities of days gone past, even though I recognize some I’m sure there is many I don’t and am sure younger people would recognize less of them.
Will people reported for using fake pictures to pass off as their own be banned? So sick of all the fakes!

well thank you for given me the opportunity to speak about SKOUT.from time past skout has been my forourite dating site but the problem about the site it that members do not reply instantly when chating with them.kindly add the BUZz system to modify the chat.please modify the process of uploading photos to ones profile.please if you can do all this i believe date will really will fun!!!
How do I unblock somone? I was playing around and blocked someone and didnt mean to do that
Woman on here using united states locations but from another country. Met a couple of woman that say there from chicago, new york, oklahoma and florida, have conversations and then the next time we talk they do not remember anything that is stated in previous conversations so I ask them where there from and they say their from ghana and west africa and other countries one of them even asked me to send them money the second time I talked to them. When I called them out on their lies and deceit app freezes in converstion and their user name no longer exist! Watch out their scamming in here
Ban feature works like a Star Chamber. Not told what you did to who, can’t put your side and appeal form is almost impossible to complete… I mean why does Skout need to know your exact join date, who can remember that, to enable you to complete all fields when the form says automatic rejection if all fields aren’t filled in correctly?
Skout simply doesn’t respond to female friends who write to them saying they have banned a good guy. Nothing gets you unbanned, anyone can report you for whatever reason, but you will never know and you get no chance to say goodbye to your friends.
Hey Mark, we took a look, and it appears that you actually Deactivated your own account. If you email us at support@skout.com, we may be able to restore it.

Hi, I was blocked from skout about 2 weeks ago, and have no idea why and no reason given, I have nothing inappropriate on my profile and multiple emails to support have had no response at all, any help here would be much appreciated.

I tried logging onto skout and it said my IPod was banned from skout? I’m really confused I don’t believe I’ve ever done anything wrong on here so I don’t understand why it would be banned
@Meagan, Your account is still open, but suspended because of the teen community closure. The ‘banned’ message is a display error. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

I also tried to log into skout this morning only to find my account had been temporarily suspended? I am unsure why this would be and it is very frustrating when I have ongoing conversations with multiple friends and users?

I was saying hi to somebody and they insulted me, calling me a name which I didn’t like. Is there a way I can bring this up to the developer of Skout with the pic I took of this? I find that people judge others and not taking time to get to know the other person. This just happened to me today.
@Matt, At the top of the chat or on the person’s profile, you can tap Report. Choose the type of report you’d like to make and our community management team will review it and take appropriate action.
Im having the same issues as Mark
I use this app all day everyday and next thing I know I can no longer sign in. I’ve tried emailing, tried contacting support… I have no idea why or what’s happened. But I too won’t get to say goodbye to the many community members I chat to daily.

@Ajk, The account I found with the email address you’re posting from has photos and everything. You could be signing into an extra blank account. I will send you a password reminder email, so you can be sure you’re signing into the correct account.
What happened to my situation?

this application is in serious need of work.
not only can you not change your location, but when you ask for locals it still gives you matches 400 miles away and locals are mixed in between.
there are many other issues here this one is the least offensive
